Explore Andaman

The Andaman Islands sit far out in the Bay of Bengal, a chain of forested islands ringed by coral and white sand. Port Blair is the gateway and the historic centre, home to the Cellular Jail, Ross Island and the 1943 Netaji Flag Point.

Beyond the capital, air-conditioned cruises run out to Havelock and Neil Island, where Radhanagar, Kalapathar, Bharatpur and Laxmanpur beaches face some of the clearest water in the country. North Bay draws snorkelers to its reefs, and a day trip north through the Jarawa reserve reaches the limestone caves and mud volcanoes of Baratang.
